Hairy Scary?

There’s a certain element of suspicion when it comes to the issue of hair and make-up – who are the stylists?  How good are they?  What products do they use?  Our wedding planners are constantly reassuring their brides about the skills of the stylists we use - and we don’t underestimate the importance of looking drop-dead-gorgeous on the Big Day.  To put your minds at ease, we’ve recently put together a Pinterest board dedicated to the work of our crafty stylists:  http://www.pinterest.com/farawayweddings/hair-and-make-up-~-wwwweddingsinthailandcom/

 

Our talented girls are local Thais who have worked with us since we began arranging weddings in 2004.  The products used are all bought here in Thailand to ensure they are manufactured to hold up to the dramatic climate and humidity – we’ve never had a bride who’s taken our stylist service and then suffered from panda eyes or slippy lippy.  Everything is strictly water-, tear- and sweat-proof and these ladies don’t leave until you are 100% satisfied.   Having been with us for so long, we absolutely trust that they will always do a good job; they’ll have the products and the equipment and they will be there on time.  It’s incredibly important that the styling is finished in time and our girls know our schedule like the backs of their hands - we don’t get left waiting or risk starting late; if you have long and/or thick Asian hair or if you are bringing clip-in extensions, please let us know and we’ll get you started early.  

There hasn’t been a hair style that’s proved unachievable; some Brides and Bridesmaids send us photos and others take a look at the stylists’ own catalogue of options on the day.  We always have an abundance of fresh flowers should you wish to adorn your ‘do.  Grips, bands and styling products are provided as part of the service.  Decorative slides, clips and veils can be incorporated no problem but you’ll need to provide those.  

There’s nothing that we recommend to our clients that we do not view as great quality and value and we are especially proud of our stylists’ service.    

This year french plaits, swept-to-one-side styles and fresh flowers have been hot hot hot!
